We had decided on a South Indian Menu of Idli / Vada, Dosa and Uttappa for our second anniversary. I asked Rangaswamy Aunty to make the coconut chutney and decided to make the Sambhar myself. Aunty cautioned me that Sambhar was the most important and whether I was confident enough to make it. “Yeh, sure”, I had said. That day I got this Wonder’s Mera Wala Sambhar Masala! The Sambhar aroma was perfect and the taste too! I asked Aunty to taste it before the guests! “Add a little salt…” is all that she said. I knew that my Sambhar had scored and so had I!
